Geek Girl Riot

I helped launch idobi Radio’s geekiest show, starting off as a podcast before exploding into the network’s biggest-selling show with a 100,000-strong live audience. I serve as producer and one of the hosts, coming together with a diverse group of geeky women (and token geek boys) to talk about all things entertainment—TV & film, books & comics, and everything in between—with interviews from actors, filmmakers, writers, and creatives.

Using this show as an avenue to expand the idobi name, I formed relationships with major television networks and film studios, delivering high-level content that garnered thousands of views on our accompanying written features, quotes on network TV and major publicity campaigns, and increased listener acquisition. Now, those networks and studios approach me directly in order to secure coverage and invite the show’s hosts to premieres and events.
